Pillar Three

Purpose: Where Your Life Should Move.

Mindset tells you how you're wired. Abilities tell you what you bring. Purpose is the direction all of it should move toward — and it's usually the piece people skip, chase sideways, or try to shortcut.

The Problem

Most people aren't lacking effort. They're lacking direction — and no amount of hustle fixes that.

◆ 01

Productive Emptiness

Staying busy, achieving things, and still feeling hollow about where it's all going.

◆ 02

Status-Chasing Without Fulfillment

Hitting the milestones that are supposed to matter, and feeling nothing when you get there.

◆ 03

Introspection Without Direction

Journaling, reflecting, “finding yourself” endlessly, with no resulting movement.

◆ 04

Joy Treated as Circumstantial

Waiting for the right job, relationship, or moment before allowing yourself to feel fulfilled.

How We Assess It

Purpose is harder to pin down than mindset or abilities — so we assess it through tendency, not fixed category.

AltruisticSelf-directed

Where your sense of purpose draws energy from — contribution to others, or building toward your own vision. Most people land somewhere between, not at either extreme.

ReflectiveActive

Whether you find clarity by thinking it through first, or by moving and discovering direction through action.

Honest aside: this spectrum is still evolving. Purpose is the least “solvable” of the three pillars, and we're refining this model as we learn more from real assessments.

The Frameworks

Framework 01

The Glad Game & Positive Psychology

Reframing circumstance by practicing deliberate gratitude — rooted in positive psychology's strengths-based approach rather than a pathology-focused one.

Framework 02

Flow State

Purpose tends to reveal itself in the moments you lose track of time. Flow is a signal, not a coincidence.

Framework 03

Positioning Not Luck

Being “in the right place at the right time” is usually the result of consistent positioning, not chance.

Framework 04

The Anchor

A fixed point of meaning that doesn't move when circumstances do — something purpose can be built on top of.

“Purpose isn't something you find once. It's something you keep choosing to move toward, one aligned step at a time.”

“...fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:2
